Ruth Niolet Delpit, 83, died on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 in Plant City, Florida.
Our dear Mother was born in Delisle and moved to CA as a young mother. Upon their retirement, Mother and Dad returned to the MS Gulf Coast and lived in Ocean Springs where they were members of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
Mother is preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Olevia Niolet of Delisle, her brother Werlin, her sister Verma, and her husband of 49 years, Bob of Pass Christian.
Survivors include her 4 children, Linda and Mike Denk of Apollo Beach, FL; Ken and Gale Delpit of Petaluma, CA; John Delpit of Asheville, OR, and Ann Findeisen of Ocean Springs. She will also be dearly missed by her 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind one brother, Ernett of Long Beach; two sisters, Dot Benvenutti of Pass Christian and Nell McDonald of Gulfport.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, September 4, 2009 10:00 a.m. at St. StephenaÌ‚â‚â„¢s Catholic Church in Delisle. Burial will follow at the Old Delisle Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to return to St. StephenaÌ‚â‚â„¢s for a celebration of her life.
