Ruth Dorothy Hansen Davis, 85, of Long Beach, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, April 25, 2008.
She loved her Lord with all her heart and never met a stranger that she didn't share Jesus with. She was a charter member of Riverside Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School and was a member of the Woman's Missionary Union. She had a giving heart and loved to give to missions. She loved her family and led many of them to the Lord Jesus. She loved to sing, sew, garden and spend time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. William Hansen; her children, Ruth Ann Davis, Charlie B. Davis and Lois J. Pavolini.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Willie W. """"Bill"""" Davis; her children, Joyce M. Saelens, Benny Davis (Anne), Nora L. Clark (Mac), Willie Davis (Mary), Ella J. Moran (Tim), and Ronnie E. Davis(Lynn); 19 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, April 28, 2008 from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd., Long Beach. The graveside service will follow at 12 Noon at Allen Cemetery in Long Beach. A guestbook may be signed at www.riemannfamily.com.
