Ruth Epperson Dandrea

Ruth Epperson Dandrea, age 88, of Pass Christian, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony A. Dandrea, Sr., a grandson, Joshua Clark, her siblings, Joel Epperson, Emma Shows, David Epperson, and George Epperson.
Survivors include her children, Kathleen Smith, Mary Ann Bunnell (James), Danny Dandrea (Laurie), Bobby Dandrea (Cheryl), John Dandrea, Diane Clark (Darrell), and Cindy Burk (Roger), 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Dandrea was a native of Thoedore, AL, and was raised in Pass Christian graduating from Pass Christian High School in 1944 and lived most of her life on the coast. She met and married the love of her life, SMsgt Anthony Dandrea, Sr., and traveled all over the world before moving to Pass Christian. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and bird watching. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church in Pass Christian.
Visitation will be from 2 - 3 pm on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Commission Road, Long Beach. The funeral service will be at 3pm in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Live Oak Cemetery.
