Ruth Strickland Crawley, 70, of Biloxi, died Saturday, November 3, 2007, in Biloxi.
She was a native of Pensacola, FL, and was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She collected antiques and had a large collection of rabbits.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Rosique, and 3 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband, William C. Crawley, Biloxi; 3 children, James C. Strickland, Jr., Biloxi, Donna (Trey) Nichols, and Denise (Joe) Joyce, both of Gulfport; 2 sisters, Vera Pringle, St. Augustine, FL, and Dessie Trenda, New Brumfields, TX; and 5 grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, November 8, 2007, at Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of South MS, 2615 Hwy 49, Gulfport, MS 39501.
The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
