Russell T. Watts, 50, of Kiln, died Friday, March 10, 2006 in Kiln.
He received a Criminal Justice degree from Jefferson Davis College, worked in law enforcement for 19 years for Hancock County and Picayune. He worked as a certified nurse's assistant, and an EMT with AAA Ambulance for six years. He also worked at the Picayune Convalescent Home for three years, at Southeast Hospital in Mandeville, LA, and as a security guard at the welcome center. He was a member of Bayou Talla Fellowship.
He is preceded in death by his father, Shannon Watts, and his birth mother, Gladys Watts.
He is survived by his wife, Stormy Watts of Kiln, his mother, Bernadine Watts of Nicholson, MS, his children, Annie Watts and Kerri Watts both of Lakeshore, and Crystal Vance of Kiln, four brothers and one sister, Robert Watts, Jeff Watts, Mike Watts, Chris Watts and Roxanne Cochran all of Nicholson, MS and two grandchildren, Jacob Vance and Troy Vance of Kiln.
Visitation will be Monday, March 13, 2006 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at Bayou Talla Fellowship. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
