Russell Irvin Peterman, 73, of Lyman, died Saturday, June 23, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mr. Peterman was a native and lielong resident of Lyman and was a member of First Baptist Church, Lyman. He worked as a mechanic for Peterman's Garage, Stribling Equipment, and Puckett Machinery. He enjoyed Bee Keeping, Deer Hunting, and Mules.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lula Peterman, and a brother, Michael Peterman.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Alice Tynes Peterman, his children, Linda (Tex) Williams, Russell David Peterman, Gary L. (Karen) Peterman, Henneth R. (Kim) Peterman, John B. (Tammy) Peterman, and Cindy (Ray) Spiers, 2 sisters, Ann Grenn and Mary Arnold, 1 brother, Tommy Peterman, 15 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives.
Visitation will be Monday, June 25, 2007 from 6 - 9 at the RIEMANN FAMILY'S Riemann Funeral Home, Hwy 49 North. The funeral service will be at 11 am Tuesday in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Finley Cemetery.
