Mr. Russell Edward """"Rusty"""" Jordan, age 63, resident of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2010.
Mr. Jordan was born in Pike County to Russell E. """"Shorty"""" Jordan and Bernice Clark McCall on March 22, 1947. He was a resident of the Coast for 40 years. He was a retired truck driver and dispatcher for Rocking C Truck Lines. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and playing computer soilitaire. He adored his family and loved spending time with his granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda Gayle Jordan.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathy Jordan of Gulfport; daughters, Monica Jordan Fast of Gulfport and Heather Marie Jordan of Gulfport; granddaughters, Meredith Jordan Barnes and Isabella Marie Jordan; sisters, Evelyn (Robert) Haymon of Brandon, MS, Judy (Alton) Branning of Smithdale, MS, and Bettye (Henry) Lewis of Liberty, MS; uncle, Vernon (Sandy) Clark of Gulfport, and Sue (Bill) Sims of Smithdale; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010, at Coalville Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
