Ruby H. Necaise, age 86, gained her angel wings on March 8, 2025.

Born in Bentonia, Mississippi November 18,1938, Ruby lived a humble life with a loving family as a sharecroppers daughter. She always had plans to be more. Ruby began working with Southern Bell as a phone operator at the age of 20 in Vicksburg Ms., before moving to Biloxi in the 60’s and became the first woman toll tester for South Central Bell on the Gulf Coast. She retired from Bell South in 1989. After retirement Ruby spent her time with family, gardening, cross stitching and caring for her grandchildren. She met and married her husband Eddy in 1970 and was married for 48 years before his passing in 2018.

Ruby was proceeded in death by her husband, Eddy Lee Necaise; her parents, Samuel K and Nettie Warnock Hancock; her brothers, Wayne, Lamar, Elwood, Lonnie, Pete and Samuel; her sisters, Jewel, Hattie Mae, Christine, Margie, and Shirley.

Ruby is survived by her daughter Teresa L Necaise Waggle (Jeff), of Gulfport; Stepdaughter, Laurie Munos (Paul), of Oak Grove California; her grandchildren, Nicholas Jordan Necaise (Courtney), of Metairie LA, Chancellor Allen Waggle (Jules), of Houston, TX., Jennifer Piazza, Jonathan Piazza, and Ryan Piazza of California; her brothers; Jimmy Hancock and Roy Hancock (Lynn) of Bentonia, MS.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS., Funeral service will be held at 10:00am. Interment will follow after the service to Floral Hills Cemetery.
