Ruby Maricelli Allday, age 91, of Long Beach, died Friday, July 2, 2010 in Long Beach.
Mrs. Allday was a native of Campti, LA and lived in Long Beach for 46 years. She was an active member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and for several years volunteered as the church receptionist. Mrs. Ruby enjoyed spending time with her friends and she enjoyed square dancing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Allday, her daughter, Jo Annice Reiter, and her parents, Joseph Sidney and Lola Tooley Maricelli.
Survivors include her siblings, Joseph Sidney Maricelli, Jr., Lorena Daigle, both of New Orleans, Jimmy Eugene Maricelli, Clarence, LA, and Francis Edwin Maricelli, Dangerfield, TX.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 8:30 am Tuesday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment will be in Long Beach City Cemetery.
