Roy C. Sinclair, age 85, of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2011.
He attended Mississippi State University and studied Electrical Engineering. He was retired from the Air Force Reserves and worked almost 40 years as an instructor and education specialist at Keesler Air Force Base. Mr. Sinclair was an active member and deacon of First Baptist Church, Gulfport and was very active with the Masons, Shriners, and was a 33rd Degree Scottish Rite Mason.
Mr. Sinclair was preceded in death by his first wife, Daphne Martin Sinclair, and his parents, George and Euna Sinclair.
Survivors include his wife, Nina I. Sinclair, his children, Donna Sharp (Kirk) and Carol Szymanski (Don), his grandchildren, Jonathan Szymanski, Kristin Sharp, and Christian Szymanski, step-daughters, Leigh Bruce (Michael) and Kelli Houts (Glenn) and their children, Landon Houts, Hannah Bruce, Robert Bruce, and Malory Houts, his sisters, Barbara Priester, Shirley Curtis, and Shelby Mattos.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 4, 2011 from 2 - 3:30 pm at First Baptist Church, Hwy 605, Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 3:30 in the church sanctuary.
Entombment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be sent to the Shriners Hospitals for Children
