Roy Robert Patenotte

Roy Robert Patenotte, age 68, of Gulfport, MS, slipped away sweetly in his Theodore, AL home on Thursday, March 8, 2012 surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Patenotte was born on July 24, 1943 in Gulfport, MS. He contributed greatly to our youth through his work as a Guidance Counselor in the Jackson County School District. He was a member of First Baptist Tillman's Corner, and Hillcrest Seniors. Roy was a devoted Husband, Father, and Grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his son Roy Robert Patenotte, Jr., and parents, Robert Roy Patenotte and Agnes Lucille Jenkins.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Patenotte; daughter, Angela Patenotte VanderPloeg; step-sons, Walter ""Bill"" Newman, Jr., Travis Newman, and Shalt Newman; and grandchildren, Roy Addison Patenotte-Felder, Storm Patenotte VanderPloeg and Isabella Rochelle VanderPloeg.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm, Monday, March 12, 2012 at
First Baptist Tillman's Corner, Mobile, AL.
