Mr. Ross Ladner, age 54 and a resident of Kiln, died on Friday, June 16, 2006 in Kiln.
Mr. Ladner was a native and lifelong resident of Hancock County. He was employed with the Hancock County Road & Bridge Maintenance Department for 18 years and was a Catholic. Mr. Ladner loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Mr. Ladner is preceded in death by his father, Wilton W. Ladner and a granddaughter, Desti Billie Marie Lee. He is survived by his mother, Esther Ladner of Kiln; his son, Jeremy Ladner of Kiln; his daughters, Diana Moran and her husband, Richard, and Latonia Fountain and her husband, Michael all of Kiln; his grandchildren, Cortney Moran, Brennen Fountain and Breanna Fountain all of Kiln; his two brothers, A.W. Ladner and Kennedy Ladner both of Kiln; and his seven sisters, Dorella Spiers of Gulfport, Gloria Ann Ladner of Kiln, Jeannie Cuevas of Steephollow Community, Sandra Cuevas of Dubuisson Community, Jonnie Fay Ladner of Gulfport, Belinda Holbrook and Darnell Cuevas both of Kiln.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 19, 2006 at Mr. Ladner's residence at 25001 Standard Dedeaux Road, Kiln, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Matthew's Catholic Church. Friends may visit at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Standard Sandhill Cemetery.
