Rosemary Ella Murray

Rosemary E. Murray, 82, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at BRMC from congestive heart failure and pneumonia that she could not overcome.
She was born in Biloxi, Mississippi on November 6, 1929.
She was a cook at Lopez School and worked there with her Aunt Cara May Duggan, at Louie Pinto's Place and at Biloxi Greyhound Bus Station with Jimmy Murray as a cook. She owned her own flea market, ""The Bargain Barn"" (her pride and joy) on Pass Road next to Pass Road Pets in Biloxi for 11 years. ""Baby"" was her real pride and joy.
She loved Yahtzee, Scrabble, Michigan Rummy, Pokino, card night with friends and relatives, and Bingo with her daughters, Jacqueline and Kerrie, mother-in-law, Ethel Murray, and her aunt, Lottie Fortich.
The family would like to give special Thanks to the BRMC staff and nurses. Also, thank you to The Flower Basket. Rosemary loved their flowers since 1955. And lastly to Camellia Home Health for your gentle care: Karla Byrd, Melinda, Danlee, Mac, Joy, social worker Lisa Garrett, Krisha, and Lenz.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Joseph W. ""Billy"" Murray; father, Dock Wedgeworth; mother, Caroline Duggan Wedgeworth-Garrette; older brother, Gerald R. Wedgeworth; younger brother, Ashton J. Wedgeworth O'Brien; older sister, Helen M. Wedgeworth Bills; middle sister, Rose Mary Wedgeworth Murray; great-granddaughter, Christian Hull.
Mrs. Murray is survived by her oldest daughter, Jacqueline Murray; middle daughter, Kerrie Murray; youngest daughter, Lateacha Reverse; grandchildren, Tabatha Murray, Jade Bates, KeRR Murray, and Jazz Man Murray; and great-grandchildren: Annaliese Gill, Joseph Reverse, Aidan Reverse, Aubrey Murray, Max Murray, Anthony Murray, Anastasia Atkins, and Karma Kennedy.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME in Biloxi, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Following the service Mrs. Murray and her husband, Billy Murray, who passed away January 3, 1999, will be buried at Biloxi City Cemetery. It was their wish to be buried at the same time.
