Rose Mary Ladner, age 89, passed away September 11, 2021.
Mrs. Ladner was a native of Harrison County and a lifelong resident of Hancock County, where she worked at the Hancock County Welcome Center for 5 years in the 1980’s.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland and Mable Ladner; her husbands, Elvert Necaise and J. B. Ladner; granddaughter, Kateria Rose Necaise; and grandson, JoJo Necaise.
Rose Mary is survived by her children, Keith J. Ladner (Kari), Patrick J. Necaise (Paulette), Averil Necaise (Kathy), Kenneth Necaise (Diane), Elvert J. Necaise (Geraldine); 16 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 31 great great grandchildren; and 1 great great great grandchild.
She loved everyone and was a sweet mother who loved her family.
In her own words she stated “I am now at peace, forever safely home in heaven. But don’t cry for me, I’m Happy!”
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 from 10 am – 12 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 PM in the church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
