Rosanna Ryan

Rosanna Holcomb Ryan, age 86 and a resident of Biloxi, died on Monday, November 9, 2009, in Biloxi. Mrs. Ryan was a native and lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah's Witness in Biloxi, and she retired after many years of service as a school bus driver with the Harrison County School District. Mrs. Ryan will be remembered for her kindness to both people and animals, and she was a very gracious and thankful person. She was an avid bowler and spending time outdoors enjoying nature.
Mrs. Ryan is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel & Rose Lestrade Holcomb; her husband, Marion Ryan; her brother, Malcolm Holcomb and her sister, Sarah Rios.
She is survived by her children, Jon (Kathy) Ryan of Gulfport, Dixie (Jim Mazarell) Harris of Miami, FL, and Phyllis Johnson of D'Iberville; her four grandchildren, Joshua Johnson, Robert Roddin, Jon-Paul Ryan, and Benjamin Ryan, and her great-grandchildren, Dana Johnson and Katy Johnson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009, at 4:00 p.m. at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. For more information, please call (228)388-9516.
