Mrs. Rosalie Cospelich Lucy, age 95, resident of Long Beach passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2007, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Lucy and her husband were former residents of Groves, TX for over 30 years. They retired to Long Beach in the early 80's. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Eastern Star, Long Beach Chapter 306. Her church home was Divine Grace Baptist Mission in Long Beach.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H.D. Lucy; parents, Peter and Marion Favre Cospelich; sisters, Mrs. T.J. (Gertrude) Henry and Mrs. Nellie Cospelich Floyd; brothers, Manley C. Cospelich and Matthew Cospelich.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Jim (Elsie) Forrester of Broddus, TX, and Mrs. Harold (Ella) Lenaz of Long Beach; and by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lucy had requested memorials be made to her church, Divine Grace Baptist Mission, P.O. Box 1392, Long Beach, MS 39560.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS, at 11:00 am, which will include Eastern Star rites. Friends may visit at the funeral home two hours prior to services. Burial will be in Long Beach City Cemetery next to her late husband.
