Ronnie "Ron" Dale Bond

Ronnie “Ron” Dale Bond, 76 of Saucier, passed away on January 14, 2025 at the Singing River Hospital in Gulfport. Ron was born on September 5, 1948 in Saucier, MS. He is preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Patricia Bond; his parents; and brother, Bruce Bond.

Ron joined the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. After being discharged Ron came back to the Mississippi Gulf Coast and settled back in Saucier. Ron worked as a diesel mechanic and heavy equipment mechanic for Roy Anderson Construction Company for many years. 

Ron loved working on old Ford tractors. He loved being out in the country doing things around the home. Ron was an avid fisherman who loved fishing daily in his pond at his home. He was a loving and easy going person who was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to so many. His legacy lives on in all of us, and his spirit will always be with us.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Bond; children, Tracey (Dan) Carsen, and Michael Bond; grandchildren, Tyler, Shelby, and Conner; siblings, John (Mamie) Bond, and Teddy Holland. Ron also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport (11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport). His funeral service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport. Interment will follow at Dobson-Holliman Cemetery.
