Ronald "Ron" Foley

Ronald Wayne “Ron” Foley, age 77, of Long Beach, passed away on January 22, 2020.

He was preceded in death by parents, Donald and Gracie Foley; a brother, Rickey Foley; and sister, Charlotte Foley Filibeck.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Carol Bell Foley; his children, Dr. Tina Foley Blitz (Dr. Arie) and Tracy Foley Chatham (Mark); 2 brothers, Charles “Pee Wee” Foley (Jackie) and Greg Foley (Patty); 4 grandchildren, Joyce Catherine Garcia (Miguel), Abigail Blitz, Mason Chatham, and Payton Chatham; and many relatives and friends.

Mr. Foley worked as a Longshoreman for over 40 years and was a member of ILA Local 1303.  He was a longtime member of St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Long Beach and he enjoyed, hunting, fishing, watching western movies, and spending time with friends and family.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 31, 2020, from 5 – 7 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach.  The funeral service will be at 11 am Saturday, February 1, 2020, in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will be in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Humane Society of South MS.
