Rodney Lee """"Rockin' Ronnie"""" Thames, age 36, of Gulfport, died Sunday, March 14, 2010 in Gulfport.
He was a native of Valparaiso, IN and lived on the coast since 1990. He enjoyed fishing and wrestling, and was easy going and never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Thames, Sr., 2 brothers, Lee Ronnie Thames, Jr., and Ronald Thames, and his grandparents, Levi and Haughty Davis and Louis and Dolly Thames.
Survivors include his wife, Brandie Thomas, his mother, Willie Thames, both of Gulfport, 6 brothers and sisters, Marcus Shuchs, GA, Donald Thames, MO, Larry Thames, Gulfport, Judy Thames, Valparaiso, IN, Brenda Atterbury, LaCrosse, IN, and Patti Thames, Gulfport, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 17, 2010 from 6 - 8 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Visitation will also be held Thursday from 6 - 8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, Monticello, MS and a funeral service will be Friday at 2 pm the the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Roberts Cemetery, Jayess, MS.
