Ronald Shaw

Ronald John Shaw, age 89, passed away on May 23, 2022 in Kiln, MS.

He was born in New Orleans, LA to Louis John and Elizabeth Shaw and was raised in New Orleans East.  In the early 1990’s he relocated to Kiln, MS.

He was proud of his service as a United States Navy Sea Bee, serving from 1952-1954. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. In the 1990’s he served as Chief of Post 58 VFD in Kiln, MS.

He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife Joy Gleason Shaw; second wife, Janice Schwandt Shaw; one son, Colin Shaw; and six siblings, Louis Shaw, Lorraine McKitta, Myrle Vogel, Evelyn Vadell, Janet Mattei and Joyce Planas.

He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Shaw of Kiln; three sons, Brian D. Shaw, Sr. of Kiln, Keith Shaw (Ruth) of Mansura, LA, Daron Shaw of Kiln; four grandchildren, Brian D. Shaw, Jr., Stacy Michelle Shaw, Bandon Kyle Shaw, Timothy Shaw; great-grandchildren, Caleb Shaw, Tyler Shaw (Amy), Taylor Shaw, Joel and Noah Riks, great great granddaughter Dakota Shaw; step-granddaughter Maria Arce; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
