Ronald P. Radix, age 63, and a resident of Ocean Springs, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011 in Mobile, AL.
Mr. Radix, a native of the Netherlands, moved to the United States with his parents in 1951 as a young child. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He was retired from the real estate business and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Ron was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan. He always had a big smile and a warm hug ready for his family, and was always there for the ones he cared about.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Mia Radix.
He is survived by his brothers, Ralph Radix and his wife Meg, and Harold Radix and his wife Patty; four sons, Chris Radix, Matt Radix and his wife Ginger, Jeffrey Radix and his wife Heather, and Robert Radix; his wife, Pamela Radix, and her children, Cynthia Newman and Royal Newman; and his grandchildren: Tyler Radix, Brian Radix, Emma Radix, Autumn Radix, Isiah Radix, Gabriel Radix, and Trinity Radix.
Friends are invited to visit from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Monday, November 28, 2011 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd., Biloxi. A Graveside Service with military honors will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Program-Combat Wounded Veterans of South MS, 9613 Iroquois Ave., Ocean Springs, MS 39564.
