Ronald James Estes

Ronald J. Estes, age 69 and a resident of Long Beach, was born on October 7, 1940, in Detroit, MI, did not die, he has only changed his residency to his permanent home with our Lord on Saturday, January 23, 2010. His cancer is now gone. He's without pain and suffering. Thank you Jesus!
Mr. Estes is preceded in death by his loving mother, Gloria Street Estes of Warren, MI.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 25 years, Helen Gronefeld Estes of Long Beach, his sons, David K. Estes of Michigan, Michael L. (Denise) Estes of Apopka, FL, and Seth E. Estes of Long Beach; his daughter, Katie M. Estes of Gulfport; his two step-sons, Kenneth G. Phillips of Cincinnati, OH and Kevin D. Phillips of Independence, KY; his loving and wonderful father, Silas H. Estes; his sister, Linda Schyll; his brother, Michael (Wendy) Estes, all of Warren, MI; ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild; many nephews, nieces, extended family members and friends.
Mr. Estes was a 20 year resident of Long Beach, where he and his wife owned and operated O.M.C. III/E.E.G. Dental Lab, where he was serving many outstanding local dentists on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
He served in the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corp., where he learned his trade as a dental technician, which became his business of 50 years.
He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend to many. We will all love and miss him until we meet again. The family wishes to thank the entire staff of Odyssey Hospice.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach, where friends may visit beginning at 5:30 p.m. until service time. For more information, please call (228)539-9800.
