Ronald R. Dockter, age 76 and a resident of Long Beach, died on Sunday, February 8, 2015, in Long Beach.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force, had been a local business owner, and a motorcycle enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudy and Lola Dockter of Crosby, MN; one brother, Richard Dockter, and a daughter, Rhonda Barrow.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Jackie Puckett Dockter; his daughter, Renea (Jeff) Foster; his son-in-law, Jerry Barrow; his grandchildren, Kristie (EJ) Bellais, Lola Foster, and Michael Foster; his great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Ethan, Ellis, and Eli Bellais; his sister-in-law, Marianne Dockter; his nephews, Ryan and Randall Dockter; his sisters-in-law, Ann Puckett, Nell Nix, Jeanette (Jimmy) Sullivan, and Lola (Paul) Kennedy and many loving nephews and nieces.
A private graveside service will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to ""His Church Rising"" First Baptist Church, 300 North Cleveland Avenue, Long Beach, MS 39560.
The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to Kare-In-Home Hospice nurses and staff.
