Ronald "Ron" Carr

Ronald “Ron” Carr, 78 of Kiln, MS passed away on August 2, 2024 at his residence. He was born on December 13, 1945 in Florida to the late Elmer & Faye Carr. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of 40 years Marvel “Jean” Carr.

Ron had a gift for singing and loved going to Karaoke Night. He was an avid reader, and enjoyed reading anything he could get his hands on. Ron had his peaceful times of spending time at home while smoking his pipe. He was loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Ron was a caring individual who always was helping family and friends in need. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ron is survived by his daughter, Loretta Necaise; son, Russell (Sheila) Minchew; grandchildren, Alex Green, Aaron Green, J.R. (Sherri) Minchew, and Virginia (James) Amason; great grandchildren, Dominique Dedeaux, Jayden Green, Harley Green, Oakley Green, Emma Grace Green, Regina Diane Minchew, Alizan Minchew, and Annabella Amason. Ron also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of friends and extended family.

Cremation has been chosen and services will be held privately.
