Ron was an excellent welder and when not attending regular school classes he could be found in his welding shop. This would prove very beneficial when he joined the Navy Seabee. His infectious laugh and smile will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Ron married Paz Llevado in the Philippines on September 26, 1987. After moving back to the US they welcomed Michael Thomas in 1988 and Jeffrey Stephen in 1989. They were stationed on many bases including ones in California, Washington, Hawaii, and finally Mississippi. Although Ron enjoyed his time in the military, he was excited to start a career with
Whiting-Turner. They welcomed Roselee Marie in 2005. Ron and Paz later divorced. Ron married Susan Pojen on May 22, 2009. They were raising 4 daughters, Jessica, Pricess, Camille and Maxine in the Philippines. They planned on living in her home country of the Philippines when Ron retired from his current job with Whiting-Turner Contracting Company. Unfortunately, those plans were cut short with his untimely passing.
