Ron Gipson

Ron L. Gipson, age 54 of Gulfport, died Thursday, February 14, 2008 in Gulfport. Mr. Gipson was a lifelong resident of Gulfport and employed with the Harrison County Sherriff's Office, the Humane Society of South Mississippi, and most recently with the Salvation Army in Gulfport for over seven years.
Mr. Gipson is preceded in death by his father, John Gipson; his mother and stepfather, Marvell Walker Gipson Shipley & Raymond Shipley; brother, Reggie Gipson and niece, Ashley Myrick.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Thomas Gipson of Gulfport; daughter, Mickie Miller of Ocean Springs; sons, Jeff Miller and Martin Crozier both of Colorado; sisters, Sandra Curvin of Franklin, VA, Deborah Taylor, and Gayle Myrick both of Gulfport; brother, Donald Gipson of Saucier; granddaughter, Mia Miller of Colorado, numerous nephews, and one niece.
A Service of Remembrance will be Sunday, February 17, 2008 at 4:00pm at the Salvation Army, 2019 22nd Street, Gulfport, MS. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 728, Gulfport, MS 39502.
