Roland C. """"Pop"""" Harrison, Sr., age 84, resident of Pass Christian, died, Wednesday, April 25, 2007 in Pass Christian.
Mr. Harrison was born in Waynesboro. He served in the US Army and worked at Ingall's. Mr. Harrison was the owner of Harrison House Moving Services for 30 years and retired owner of Popp's Auto Sales in Gulfport. He loved to travel and was a typical Sunday driver.
Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by his wife, Helen L. Harrison and his parents, Grover C. and Della Harrison.
He is survived by his children, William A. Harrison of Gulfport, Roland C. Harrison, Jr. of D'Iberville; companion, Mandy Crosby of Pass Christian; grandchildren, Allen Harrison of D'Iberville, John Munk of Laurel, Kayla Sharpley, Chris Sharpley and Josh Sharpley; great grandchildren, Joshua Harrison, Branson Sharpley and Emalee Sharpley.
Services will be held Friday, April 27, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Riemann family's GULF COAST FUNERAL HOMES, Three Rivers Road Chapel, in the newly open facility, Gulfport. Burial will follow at Southern Memorial Park.
