Rogers Joseph """"Butch"""" Winter 63, of Gulfport passed away on Monday, April 7, 2008 in Gulfport.
Mr. Winter is preceded in death by is mother, Margaret Lucille Goetzman Winter, his father, Rogers Winter and his nephew Peter Rogers.
Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Brenda Gayle Winter of Gulfport, his daughters Marla Gayle Cain and her husband Andrew Wayne of Birmingham, AL, and Beth Ann Hester and friend Thomas Robert Cummings of Long Beach, his granddaughter, Abigayle Elizabeth Cain; his grandson, Benjamin Andrew Cain; his brothers, Peter James Winter and his wife Debra John of Casselberry, FL, and David Anthony Winter of Tallahassee, FL; his sister, Kathleen Burton and her husband George of Tallahasse, FL; his niece, Esther Marie Gomez and her husband Enrique of New Jersey; his nephews, Samuel James Burton of Tallahassee, FL, Zachary Adam Burton of Tallahassee, FL and John Pierce Winter of Casselberry, FL; and a special mother, Leona Summers of Perry, FL.
The family will plan a Memorial Service at a later date in Perry, Florida. The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd., Long Beach is in charge of the arrangments.
In memory of Butch, donations may be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
