Roger Ray Pennington, Jr., age 40, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2010, at his home in Gulfport.
Mr. Pennington was born October 28, 1970, in Newport News, VA, to Roger and Rebecca Pennington, but lived most of his life on the Gulf Coast. He was a graduate of Harrison Central High School and served in the U. S. Army. Roger was a Christian, enjoyed fishing and golf, but most of all, loved and cherished his family.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife and best friend, Heather Bright and their sons, Jacob and Zachary; and daughter, Madison; brother, Joseph Pennington, of Biloxi; grandfather, Chester Adkins; grandmother, Lee Casto, both of Hurricane, WV; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
The funeral service will be held at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport today, Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at 7:00 p.m, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to a trust fund for Jacob, Zachary, and Madison Pennington at BankCorp South, 15410 Hwy 49 North in Gulfport.
