Robyn Rudat Allen

Robyn Rudat Allen of Gulfport, MS, passed away on April 1, 2014. She was born on July 4, 1940, in Philadelphia, PA. She was a graduate of Central High School, London, England 1958 and Philadelphia School of Business 1960. She married and moved to Columbus, GA in 1961, where she raised her children while working as the office manager for Bill Heard Leasing Company. In 1999, Robyn moved to Gulfport and worked for Select Specialty Hospital for over 10 years prior to her retirement.
Robyn is survived by her children, Wendy Muths of Gulfport, Ed Allen (wife Terri ) of Huntsville, AL, and Stacey Schwarz (husband Adam) of Singapore. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Edward and Henry Allen, Meg and Izzy Muths, Jack and William Schwarz and her dear lifelong friend, Carol Yacovone of Indian Harbor Beach, FL. She also loved her son-in-law, Sherman Muths, III.
Her greatest loves were spending time with her children and grandchildren, her numerous pets over the years, her home and gardening and traveling.
Robyn donated her body to Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, LA for research. A memorial service will be planned by the family in June.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, served the family.
