Robin G Blackmon, age 67, of Gulfport, MS, passed away on Wednesday December 11, 2024, in Gulfport, MS. She was born in New Albany, MS to Robert and Miriam Grigsby, and raised in Hattiesburg, MS until she moved to the Coast. 

Robin was preceded in death by her husband Donald Ray Blackmon Sr., her parents Robert ‘Bob” and Miriam Grigsby, and sister Karen A. Herbert. She loved to crochet and spend time with her grandchildren. Robin was a member of Northwood Church.

 Robin leaves her cherished memories to her daughter Mary Nicole Welch (José); stepchildren Donald Ray Blackmon Jr. (Amanda) and Michelle “Shelley” Carden whom she cherished as her own; brother James Grigsby (Fran); grandchildren Heather Hodge (James), Brett Carden (Emily), Ciera Blackmon, Chance Blackmon (Alana), Trent Blackmon, Mackenzie Blackmon; great grandchildren Lynnex, Tatum, Falynn, Teagan, Bennett, Ryder, Elijah, and River; as well as a niece, a nephew, and numerous cousins that she loved dearly. 

Her family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Amanda for her unwavering love and care, as well as to the staff of Gulfport Care Center, and Traditions Hospice for their compassion and support during her final days. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

 A Viewing will be 4:00 - 5:00 pm Monday December 16, 2024 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS 39503.
