Robin Linnette Cleveland

Robin Linnette Cleveland, 53, went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior, peacefully in her sleep at home in Gulfport, MS on Sunday, May 26, 2024.

She was a native of Gonzales, LA, where she spent most of her life. Robin grew up loving to dance and competing in beauty pageants. She attended nursing school and graduated with her LPN degree and began working in nursing homes in Baton Rouge, LA and New Orleans, LA. She loved every patient she had in those years. She absolutely loved to give to those in need and providing care to who ever she could. She was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and cousin.

Robin is survived by her daughter, Rayna McGhee-Sam and her husband Nick Sam; her mother , Sylvia Gonzales; her brother, Troy M. Cleveland; and her 3 grandchildren, Blayne Stelly, Meadow Wesley, and Nya Sam. Also surrounding her with love are many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Proceeding her in death is her daughter, Darra Danay Cheveallier; her father, Melvin Tyrone Cleveland; her 2 brothers, Kenneth Todd Cleveland and Mark Christopher Cleveland; and her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Gonzales Jr. and Mrs. Norma P. Delatte and her husband John.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 2pm-5pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home (11280 Three Rivers Rd. Gulfport, MS) to honor her memory.
