Robin G. Allen

Gulfport, Mississippi - Robin G. Allen, a beloved member of the community, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023. She was born on May 22, 1963, in Mississippi to Gordon and Polly Allen. Robin's bright spirit touched the lives of those around her, and she will be deeply missed. Her memory will continue to shine forever in the hearts and minds of all who knew and loved her.

Robin had an accomplished career, retiring from Mobile Oil and General Electric after dedicating years of hard work and commitment to both companies. Her expertise and dedication were valued by her colleagues, and she made a lasting impact in her field.

Education played a significant role in Robin's life. She was a proud 1981 graduate of St. John High School and went on to pursue a Mechanical Engineer degree at the University of New Orleans. Her thirst for knowledge and determination allowed her to achieve great success in her chosen profession.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Robin was known for her kind heart and strong Christian faith. She found great joy in sharing her faith through Bible studies with friends and spreading love and positivity wherever she went. Robin's unwavering belief in the goodness of humanity served as an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Robin is survived by her loving family, including her three siblings: Steve A. Allen (Katherine), Gordon A. Allen Jr., and Pam Thornton, as well as her cherished pets Gracie, Mia, Charlotte, and Conner. Additionally, Robin leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and a host of family members, friends, and fellow classmates who loved her dearly.

A Memorial Gathering will take place to honor Robin's memory on Monday, November 13th at Riemann Family Funeral Home, located at 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, MS 39503. The visitation will begin at 4:00 PM and conclude at 5:30 PM. It will be a time of remembrance and celebration, as we gather to share stories, support one another, and pay tribute to Robin's remarkable life.
