Robert William Windham
September 19, 1968 – January 28, 2025
Rob peacefully passed away after a 3 year battle with cancer, Tuesday January 28, 2025, in Gulfport, MS.
He was born in Marrero, LA but was a resident in Diamondhead, MS for many years. Rob's parents are Linda M. Bonvillian (Eddie) of McComb, MS, and Larry Windham (Vicki) of Moselle, MS.
Rob is survived by his wife of 3 years, Michelle Windham; his children, Christopher Windham (Lynzie); grandson Benjamin, Morgan Talavera (Hector); granddaughter, Isabel; and Madison Windham; stepchildren, Ryan; grandson, Lane; granddaughter, Kimber, AJ (Morgan), Rance (Jessica) and Brandon (Makayla) step-sister, Rosie Sonnier (Damon) and son, Mac resides in Jacksonville, NC
Rob is preceded in death by his younger brother, Brent Windham; grandparents, Bruce and Betty McLeod, William and Frances Windham.
Rob was dependable, honest, funny, and "hard-working" was his personality as everyone around him will testify. He had many talents during his lifetime including cooking, being an artist, wood working and carving, hotshot driver, medic on movie sets in Louisiana, reserved policeman in Mississippi, and fishing just to name a few. He also worked in plants as a medic, on pipelines as a medic and inspector, as well as, a medic and security guard at Audubon Park in New Orleans. Rob had a military career that consisted of 4 years in the Army and 16 years of reserve duty.
Rob will be missed by family and friends he met throughout his lifetime.
No services will be held at this time. He will be laid to rest at Westlawn Cemetery, in Gretna, LA with his brother.
