Robert Wayne Cuevas

Robert Wayne Cuevas, age 73, of Long Beach, passed away on February 22, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Cuevas; his mother, Doris Mae Cuevas; and a brother, Jimmy S. Cuevas (Marion).

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Norma Lee Cuevas; a daughter, Tina M. Cuevas; a granddaughter, April M. Allen; a grandson, Justice H. Lizana; three great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Levi Boyd, and Hunter Lizana; his brother, David Cuevas (Gale); and numerous other relatives and friends.

Robert was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle.  He was blessed to have many friends and was a generous neighbor and friend always there to help anyone in need.  He was a longtime member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Long Beach and was a former Sunday School Superintendent.

His joy was his church, his family, and especially his little great-grandsons and “paw paw” was so special to them.  We already miss Robert dearly and we look forward to being with him in heaven.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 10 – 11 am at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach.  The funeral service will be at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will be in Allen Cemetery.
