Robert W. "Bob" Vaughan

Robert W. ""Bob"" Vaughan, age 75, of Diamondhead, passed away January 15, 2015 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Lucille Vaughan; his first wife, Theresa R. Vaughan; and his sister, Alberta Gunnels.
Bob is survived by his wife, Rhonda L. Vaughan of Diamondhead; his children, Karen V. (Daniel E.) Karlstad of Mobile, AL, Keith (Gwen F.) Vaughan, and Kim V. (Cale) Hollingsworth, both of Spanish Fort, AL; siblings, Garndella Vaughan of Birmingham, AL, Marcelline Reid of Canton, GA, and Joyce Ann Miller of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Eric Daniel, Tyler Reece, Erin Danielle Vaughan, Ryan K. Vaughan, Lauren M. Vaughan, and N. Brooke Hollingsworth.
He served in the United States Air Force for 4 years and lived in Columbia, MS for 25 years, raising his family and owning a business.
He was a successful entrepreneur having owned many businesses, the most recent being Pass Road Mini Storage in Gulfport, MS, Triple A Mini Storage in Biloxi, MS and Dolphin Self Storage in Mobile, AL.
He enjoyed flying, was a licensed pilot for 35 years, and he and Rhonda owned and flew their own private airplane. He was an avid antique car collector.
Bob was a member of Jacobs Well Baptist Church in Diamondhead. He was a loving, kind and generous person and a well-respected, honest businessman in the community.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Noon at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until Noon prior to the graveside.
