Robert Elifus Riley, age 72, of Gulfport, passed away November 14, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mr. Riley was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lucille Riley; and by his brother, Wayne Riley.
He is survived by his children, Allen Edward Riley of Las Vegas, Nevada, Mark Thomas Riley of Flagstaff, Arizona, Robyn Elizabeth Podolick of Westerville, Ohio, Timothy Robert Riley of Gulfport, Mississippi; his brother, Virgil Riley of Gulfport; his sisters, Ruby Elaine Scott of Gulfport, and Juanita Dennis of Santa Ana, California; his grandchildren, Leah Podolick, and Amanda Riley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Riley was retired from the U.S. Navy after serving during Korea and Vietnam. He was a dedicated sailor, father and friend. After serving in the Navy he enjoyed his job as a tour bus driver. He will be remembered as a humorous and fun man.
A visitation will be held Sunday, November 18, from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Funeral services will be Monday, November 19, at 10:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
The family prefers memorials be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 6350 North Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309-2130.
