Robert B. Prine, age 83 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Sunday, September 23, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mr. Prine was a native of Greene County and was a longtime resident of the MS Gulf Coast. He served in the US Navy during WWII and was owner of Gold Star Limo Company in Biloxi.
Mr. Prine is preceded in death by his father, Robert I. Prine and his mother, Julia Kittrell Hammond.
He is survived by his sister, Henryetta Yexley of Biloxi; his niece, Cynthia Aldridge of Chicago, IL; his great nephew, Jason Aldridge of Atlanta, GA; his caregivers, Pamela Fisher and Larry Wright both of Gulfport; many other loving family members and friends and by his loving companion; his dog, Mr. Claus.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 11:00am at THE RIEMANN FAMILY'S FUNERAL HOME, Highway 49 North Chapel in Gulfport, where friends may visit beginning at 9:30am. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.
