Robert V. "Bob" Peer

Robert V. ""Bob"" Peer, age 82, and a resident of Biloxi, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor Lee Peer and Grace Caldwell Peer; and two sisters, Mildred Mae Peer and Nancy Lee.
Mr. Peer is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Avis L. Peer of Biloxi; his son, Robert C. Peer and his wife, Carol Grissom Peer; his daughters, Lynda K. Peer and Ellen M. Peer, his sister, Betty Benton of Winterhaven, FL; brother, John Peer of Dover, DE; granddaughter, Jillian Relyea Bolton; adopted daughter, Gracie Harris and a special friend, Sharon Griggers.
He was born in Dana, Indiana on September 14, 1930, where he graduated high school. He was an Air Force veteran, where he served for 20 years. He worked as an auto salesman for Regal Buick for 18 years, and retired from Civil Service at the Gulfport Naval Base, where he worked for 10 years. He enjoyed antique cars and was a member of the Antique Auto Club.
Friends are invited to visit from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd, Biloxi. A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:45 AM for a graveside service, with full military honors, at 11:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery.
