Robert Allen Page, age 67, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 9, 2007.
Mr. Page was a lifetime resident of Gulfport. He served in the US Army Reserves, was a Mason, and was a faithful member of Kenwood Baptist Church in Gulfport.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Allen and Olga Saucier Page and by his first wife, Linda Page.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carleen Shaw Page of Gulfport; his step-children, Dana Davidson and her husband Harley of Gulfport, Darrin Wilson and his wife Maggie of Jefferson City, TN, Damon Wilson and his wife Denise of Picayune, Dusty Johnson of Rogers, AR and Jennifer Northrup of McHenry; his brothers, Tommy McGill and his wife Jane, Ronnie Page and his wife Lavon, Paul Page and his wife Jeanette all of Gulfport, Stanley Byron Page of Byhalia, MS; his sisters, Kathy Coutreaux and her husband Milton of Gulfport and Sheryl Davenport and her husband Dan of Goosecreek, SC; 12 grandchildren, and many nephews, nieces, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Riemann family's GULF COAST FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Road Chapel in Gulfport.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Kenwood Baptist Church on Old Highway 49 in Gulfport. Friends may visit one one hour prior to the service. Good friend and pastor, Brother Tim Saucier and Brother Doug Reid will be officiating. Burial will follow at the First Free Church of God Cemetery on Three Rivers Road.
Bobby was a loyal, devoted husband, and he had a steady, quiet presence that will be sadly missed by his family and by those who knew him.
His family wishes to express their appreciation to Debra, Kim, and Sharon and to the many people who assisted with his care during his illness and to the loving friends whose visits brought him such comfort and pleasure.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to BEAMS, P.O. Box 10200, Gulfport, MS 39505, for the purchase of Bibles that will be translated and shipped to missionaries overseas and will be dedicated in the memory of Bobby Page.
