Robert O. """"Bob"""" Morrison, 77, resident of Biloxi, died, Tuesday, September 12, 2006 in Biloxi.
Mr. Morrison was born in Tulare, CA on July 2, 1929. He lived most of his life in Memphis, TN. Mr. Morrison was a self educated civil engineer and retired after 40 years in 1996 from Folk Construction and 4/F. He was a member of the Tennessee Roadbuilders Association and The Association of General Contractors. He was also a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and loved traveling and fishing.
Mr. Morrison is preceded in death by his parents, Ora Moses and Anna Ruth Morrison; sister, Theola Morrison; brother, Joseph Morrison; and wife, Erma Faye Moore Morrison.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Waddell Morrison of Biloxi; six children, Donald Morrison Tomlinson and wife Judy of Browns Valley, CA., David Morrison and wife Jerri of Memphis, TN., Terry Parnell and husband Gilbert of Tiptonville, TN, Robert O. """"Bobby"""" Morrison, Jr. of Somerville, TN, Marian Elizabeth """"Beth"""" McCraw and husband Drew of Saginaw, TX, Mary Annette Hinds and husband Jim of Yukon, OK; brothers, Harold L. Morrison and Richard Morrison; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation was held Thursday, September 14, 2006, from 5:00-6:30 p.m. at Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, Three Rivers Road Chapel, Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
A Graveside Service will also be held Saturday, September 16, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery in Memphis, TN.
Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 5007 Lawson Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39507.
