Robert ""Bob"" T. Moll, age 87 and a resident of Diamondhead, died on Thursday, December 30, 2010, in Diamondhead.
Mr. Moll was a native of Warren, PA and had been a longtime resident of Algiers, LA. He served in the U.S. Army, 45th Infantry Division, Thunderbird, and the 180th Infantry Division, during WWII in the European -African Theatre, where he received the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. Mr. Moll retired from Witco Chemical Company in Harvey, LA. He had also been employed with Engilsh Turn Golf and Country Club in Algiers and the Bridges Golf Course-Hollywood Casino in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Moll is preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Bertha Dietsch Moll; his brothers, Raymond Moll, Richard Moll, and Leroy Moll and his sister, Josephine Kockheim.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Dorothy Henderson Moll; his children, Edward (Ann) Moll, Gary (Brenda) Moll, and Marlene Moll (Don) Bass; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2011, at 11:00am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road in Pass Christian, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
