Robert """"Bob"""" Wayne Merchant, 52, passed to glory January 19, 2008 in Gulfport.
Bob was born March 10, 1955 in Gulfport, and after living most of his life in Florida and Pennsylvania. He returned to Gulfport in 2006. He enjoyed his friends and riding on his bike.
He was met in heaven by his mother, Elsie Miller Merchant.
He is survived by three sons: Jesse H. Albercrombie and Robert Wayne Merchant, Jr., of Florida, and Michael Wayne Merchant, of Seattle, Washington; three brothers: Donnie (Miriam) Merchant, of Atlanta, Georgia, Chris Merchant, of Gulfport, and Jon (Carrie) Merchant, of Ft. White, Florida; three grandsons; and his father, Donald Merchant.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Gulf Haven Mennonite Church. Friends may call thirty minutes before the service. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements. A guest book may be signed at www.riemann family.com.
