Robert Lizana

Robert F. Lizana, age 87, of Lizana, passed away on December 26, 2019, in Biloxi.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Lizana; a son, Randy Lizana; his father, Lamar Lizana; his mother, Lydia (John) Sheffield; a sister, Rosemary Stephens; and a son-in-law, James Gilbert.

Survivors include a sister, Linda McGill; a brother, Hubert Earl Lizana; his children, Robert Tyree, Cynthia Gilbert, Ricky Lizana (Terry), Dana Strickland (Steve), and Clint Lizana (Tara); 9 grandchildren, Christina Gilbert, Jessica Cobern, Charlotte Petre, Patrick Lizana, Amanda Stegall, Dustin Strickland, Hunter Lizana, Owen Lizana, and Layla Tyree; 11 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Mr. Lizana was a lifelong resident of the coast and was a longtime shimper.  He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during the Korean War.  He enjoyed hunting and spending time in his yard.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 30, 2019, from 9 – 11 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian.  A prayer service will be held at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will be in Wolf River Cemetery.
