On Thursday, January 13, 2022 Robert Kirk Lambert, loving son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away at the age of 42 at Singing River Hospital in Gulfport, MS.

Robert was born on October 24, 1979 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Alexander Adam and Leslie Blair (Moyer) Lambert. He attended The University of Southern Mississippi where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and received his bachelor of fine arts from William Carey University in 2006. He owned Pass Christian Art House for several years prior to Katrina and worked for Pellerin Milnor Corporation in New Orleans for a number of years. He also worked as a football coach and history teacher at Forrest County Agricultural High School for a short time.

He had a passion for all types of art. He was a self-taught guitarist and he loved to play all types of music, but his favorite to play for his nieces and nephews was Johnny Cash. He loved creating art more than anything. Robert had an amazing eye for all mediums of art and felt mostly at peace with a paintbrush in his hand or sculpting bronze or wood. His favorite mediums to paint were oil, acrylic, and watercolor. He was also an extremely talented sculptor of Bronze and Wood. His favorite subject was nature and painting people in motion, and those that he loved.

Robert was also an avid hunter and golfer. He loved deer hunting, duck hunting, playing golf and watching LSU Tigers on the weekends with family and friends. Robert had a heart of gold and loved his family more than anything. He adored his nieces and nephews and was always a proud uncle. He loved spending time with his beloved nieces and nephews.

He was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and kind and generous heart. Robert was a faithful Catholic and often would say he had a friend in Jesus.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Leslie Blair Moyer Lambert.

He is survived by his father, Alexander Adam Lambert Jr.; his brothers, Alexander Adam “Beau” Lambert, III (Elena), and Hutson Lee Lambert (Anita); his sisters, Penelope Blair “Penny” Davidson (Richard), and Mary Sinclair “Polly” Lambert; his nieces and nephews, Carter James Davidson, Alston Alexander Davidson, Claire Penelope Davidson, Alexis Lee “Lexi” Lambert (goddaughter), Alexander Adam Lambert IV, Hutson Lee “Hutch” Lambert, Jr.; and too many friends to count.
