Robert D. """"Bob"""" Kirkup, 68, of Diamondhead, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2009, in Diamondhead.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David Kirkup and Alice Kirkup.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Rae Schwander Kirkup, of Diamondhead; children, Jeffrey W. Kirkup, and wife Terry, of Diamondhead, Stacey Hudson, and husband Howard, of Carriere, Leslie McGinnis, of Coupville, WA, Tina Rogers, and husband Gene, of Madison, Dana Binion and husband Thomas, Shelly Loftis, and husband Charles, of Gulfport; and Marvin J. Gauthreaux, and wife Christine, of Mandeville, LA; grandchildren, Alison, Howard, Steven, Maranda, Maile, Taylor, Melissa, Mitchell, Carly, and Kayla; and one great-grandchild, Jordan.
He received his Master's Degree in Business Management from Rutgers University and served as a Financial Manager for Wackenhut Services, Inc. for almost 20 years. He was a member of Diamondhead Community Church and the Diamondhead Golf Association.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2009, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Rd., Pass Christian. A procession will leave the funeral home chapel at 4:30 PM to the Diamondhead Community Church, 5301 Diamondhead Circle, Diamondhead, MS 39525, for a 5:00 PM funeral service.
