Mr. Robert Bernard ""R.B."" Hill, age 91, resident of the Gulfport, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2010.
Mr. Hill was born in Neshoba County to John Thomas and Ora Lois Blount Hill. He retired from Mississippi Power Co. as a System Coordinator after 39 years. He was an involved member of Gulfhaven Mennonite Church where he served as Elder and a Sunday School Teacher.
He will be remembered as a faithful friend and for his love for the Lord. He was well known for his electrical skills and enjoyed woodworking. He loved fishing, birdwatching, and the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Maida Geil Hill; parents and siblings.
He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2010, at Gulfhaven Mennonite Church from 10-11 a.m. Funeral services will be held in the sanctuary at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow in Gulfhaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gulfhaven Mennonite Church, 21497 Mennonite Road, Gulfport, MS 39503, or Gideons Int'l.
