Robert Head

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Elvin Head, of Gulfport, MS announces his passing at the age of 76 on August 29, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elvin and Etha Head of Stone County, MS, and his brother, Larry Head. Bob will be forever remembered by his two sons, Charlie Head (Tracy), and Brian Head (Amy), his sister, Judy Cameron, nephew, Jackie Parker, niece, Shelley Parker and her daughter, Megan Parker.

Bob was a life-long resident of Mississippi, graduate of Gulfport High School and The University of Southern Mississippi, and a Vietnam Veteran. He spent many years in sales and as district manager of Curtis Industries before his retirement. Bob enjoyed cooking and sharing his recipes with family and friends - his beef jerky and boiled peanuts are practically necessities for any fishing trip. He was an avid New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Braves fan and memorabilia collector. Those that knew Bob will recount his love for dancing, music, and making new friends. Most of all, Bob loved his sons and cherished every opportunity to spend time with them. He was proud of his family and will be remembered by many for his generosity, fun-loving nature, and infectious smile.
