Robert Givens

Robert David Givens, age 74, a resident of Bay St. Louis, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Juanita Givens; sister, Jeanette Mollero; and brother-in-law, Ervin Mollero.

Robert is survived by his wife of 4 years, Melissa Hoffman; children, Scott (Catherine) Givens, Paul Givens, Chris Givens, Paul (Mindy) Hoffman, Matthew (Elin) Hoffman, Tim (Ashley) Hoffman, and Natasha Givens Radugge; siblings, Frances (Jerry) Burden, Kathleen Roark; 9 grandsons; 9 granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a native of Waycross, GA and worked for Tenneco Hess, Exxon Mobile, and his business Trophies ETC.

David loved fishing on the Gulf Coast, working in his trophy shop, and driving the coast with his wife Melissa while listening to music and holding hands. He enjoyed spending lots of time with his grandchildren.

For David to be absent from this life is to be present with our precious Lord. David never met a stranger and loved his family and friends dearly. He was a man of faith and sincerity in his love toward people.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, his family, and his friends. His presence on this earth touched many lives with his kindness in both word and deed. David’s Celebration of Life Service will take place later in the Spring of 2022 when friends and family can attend.
