Robert Edwin Peden

Robert Edwin Peden, age 28 of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert "Bobby" Peden; paternal grandfather, William "Bill" Peden, and grandmother, Genevieve Peden; maternal grandfather, Fred Heflin.

Robert is survived by son, Gabriel Alexander Peden; mother, Melissa Heflin Peden; brothers, Austin P. Peden and Wesley P. Peden, Sr. (Savannah); maternal grandmother, Emma Dean Foretich; nephews, Keller Tiblier, Finley Peden, and W. Parker Peden, Jr.; and niece, Summer Peden. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he loved dearly. Robert was surrounded by many friends here, and podcast followers around the world who loved him.

Robert attended Gulfport High School, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, and University of Southern Mississippi, Gulf Park Campus.

He was a talented musician and was passionate about guitar. He was a member of local bands like Magnolia Bayou and Freedom River praise band. He loved to fish in the bayou, and in the gulf. His true pride and passion, though, was his son, Gabriel.

Robert loved His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, impacted others by his faith, and was ready to spend eternity with Him.

Graveside service will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Gulfport.
